Ellen (Ellie) Truckenbrodt is an insurance specialist with more than 20 years of experience advising individuals, families, business ­owners, entrepreneurs, and the self-employed. She has been recognized as an authority in the areas of life and Medicare insurance and is licensed as a CLTC, which is a Certified Long-Term Care Specialist. Ellie also holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing with a minor in Finance from the University of South Florida in Tampa.

Ellie partners with estate planning attorneys, accountants, and financial advisors by designing competitive and tax-efficient insurance plans for the clients of these firms. She “officially” partnered with Scranton Financial Group, though she has been sharing her knowledge about Medicare and Long-Term Care insurance for several years when needed. Ellie’s approach to planning is by always putting her client’s best interests and needs first, so they can maintain independence while choosing the best care as they age. Taking a personal approach to every aspect of the process, Ellie spends a great amount of time getting to know her clients and recommending the best strategies for them.

In her free-time, Ellie volunteers at dog rescue organizations around Connecticut and is an advocate for optimal senior care in multiple senior care living facilities statewide. She also travels the world extensively and is an avid tennis player. Ellie currently resides on the Shoreline with her rescue dog, Oreo.
